Were delighted to be instructed to provide structural engineering services to Greens Carpentry for the major refurbishment of this luxury Langland home. This 100year old property was largely of original construction, proving sensitive to ambitious structural changes.
The existing pool was refurbished with a new wrap around timber framed pool room on perimeter retaining walls and suspended slab foundation.
The roof conversion involved sliding a new steel frame into position and re-supporting much of the existing roof structure and lowering the floor level.
The new kitchen and glazed large dining room extension needed 8m span steel beams to support the existing structure and create the new dining room space.
