What started life as a ordinary box house has been transformed into a luxury home by the addition of a modern extension. This project designed by Raum Architects shows what can done with great imagination.
The extension is of traditional masonry construction on strip footings with a timber joist first floor and cut timber roof. Nothing great there but the space is transformed by the double height living room and vaulted ceilings, with walkway bridge and double storey corner glazing. This is now a good sized home with open plan fun family space.
